Walan Garay

Delivering unique cultural education experiences that have a lasting impact on participants and inspire meaningful change across organisations.

Translating to ‘Strong Words’ in the local Gomeroi language, Walan Garay provides the opportunity for deep, important conversations that build strength, capacity and understanding throughout your organisation.

In our 4-hour workshops, participants take part in unique, engaging exchanges that will enrich their understanding of Aboriginal culture, and ultimately improve the way they work with Aboriginal communities.

Our workshop format creates meaningful experiences for participants – it’s not just a dry classroom training session. This is designed for participants to strengthen their capacity to understand the diversity and complexities of Aboriginal communities. Participants are then able to translate this new understanding into practice that achieves positive change within their organisation.

“I was so moved by the content and delivery of this information. They have inspired me to do even more to close the gap and I am actively seeking volunteering opportunities because of this training”.
